The quickest website projects are the ones where the basics are ready on day one. You do not need to write anything or plan the pages yourself. We help with all of that, including the writing. But a few things only you can give us.
The four things we ask for
- Your logo. The original file is best (for example an SVG, PDF or a large PNG). If you do not have one, tell us early.
- Photos of your work. Real photos of real jobs, your team and your premises are far more convincing than stock images. Recent photos, taken in good light, work best.
- A list of your services. Everything you want people to find you for, even the small jobs. A rough list in an email is fine.
- The areas you cover. The towns and boroughs where you want work. This shapes your pages and your local search set-up.
Helpful extras
These are not essential, but they make a noticeable difference:
- The questions customers ask you most, so your pages can answer them.
- Any memberships or accreditations you hold, with proof, so we can show them correctly.
- Who manages your domain name and email, so the launch goes smoothly.
- Websites you like, and why. It does not matter if they are in a different industry.
What we take care of
Once we have the basics, we plan your pages, write the words, design and build the site, and set up hosting, your domain and the SSL certificate that keeps it secure. We then test every form and link on phones and desktops. You can see each stage in our web design process.
How long it takes
Once we have your details, the first version of your site is usually ready for you to review within 14 days. Most sites are fully live within 3 to 4 weeks.
