Mediation is about clarity, communication, and trust. Unfortunately, many third-sector websites suffer from "Legacy Fatigue"—cluttered interfaces, outdated CMS platforms, and confusing user journeys that deter those seeking help.
The Problem: WMS Mediation required a digital presence that balanced professionalism with approachability. Their previous setup was rigid, difficult for staff to update, and failed to effectively communicate their diverse service offerings to the public and potential volunteers.
The Goal: To engineer a "Hybrid" WordPress solution. We needed to deliver the flexibility of Elementor for the marketing team, backed by the structural integrity of ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) and dynamic code for complex data handling.
A dynamic news engine that allows the charity to recruit volunteers and announce leadership changes instantly.

We deployed a Hybrid WordPress environment. We utilized Elementor Pro for visual editing of static pages, ensuring the charity's team could drag-and-drop their way to new layouts. However, for critical data—like team members, case studies, and resources—we bypassed the page builder.
We implemented Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and wrote custom PHP handlers. This keeps the design system rigid where it needs to be (fonts, spacing, branding) while allowing infinite flexibility in content.
We injected JSON-LD structured data specifically for the NGO sector, ensuring WMS shows up correctly in Google's Knowledge Graph.
Technology evolves. Our contract includes monthly updates, security patching, and on-call support, effectively acting as their outsourced IT department.
