Our Mission

Impartial, free support for Croydon.

Croydon Mediation is an independent charity established in 1993. We understand that conflict is normal, but left unresolved, it can severely impact health and well-being.

Our highly trained mediators do not take sides, make judgments, or dictate solutions. Instead, we provide a structured, safe environment for individuals to communicate and reach their own mutually agreeable outcomes.

Impartial

We facilitate dialogue without ever judging or taking sides.

Confidential

Your discussions and shared details remain strictly private.

The Process

How Mediation Works

Mediation is voluntary. It is a proven, effective alternative to formal legal action, helping you maintain complete control over the outcome.

1

Referral

Contact us directly, or be referred by a housing provider, the police, or local council.

2

First Meeting

Two mediators will meet with you privately to listen carefully to your perspective.

3

Joint Meeting

Mediators arrange a safe, neutral space to discuss the issues together constructively.

Agreement

Parties work towards a written, mutually acceptable agreement on moving forward.

Education & Skills
